My life has been one of creativity and a curious mind, loving to play with ideas and make things since I was a girl, whether it is cooking, sewing, photography, decorating my home, gardening, or painting. My love of art and creativity continues to grow every day. I like to create things that mean something to people who mean something to me so I give a lot of my work to others to enjoy. Mostly, I create for the sheer joy of the process and the delight of the outcome. I create to feel my best. 

 

After a career in video production and raising two wonderful daughters I went back to school to study painting.  Taking classes at the local college has helped me grow as an artist and I continue to do so 

 

As a visual person, I  express my many inspirations through various mediums but painting and mixed media are now my focus. With my growing and developing practice, I am enjoying the world of shape, color, and the effects of creating a piece of art.  I have a deep appreciation for color and its ability to evoke emotion and tell a story
